MILLEDGEVILLE NATURAL FOODS JOINS THE SERENITY FAMILY
Wendy Green, owner and founder of
Milledgeville Natural Foods will be bringing this long respected local
enterprise into Serenity’s new facility. For the past 21 years, Wendy has been
offering her vast experience and knowledge of nutrition and natural healing to
local residents.
“ I started 30 years ago working in food
co-ops and studying nutrition and herbal remedies. Then I began experimenting
with my own family and discovered that we very seldom needed medical care,” says
Green. Green then went on to formalize her training by completing her Masters
Degree as an Herbalist.
Now as a Master Herbalist, Green offers
personal nutrition counseling services to anyone who needs assistance in
developing a dietary plan, or who may want herbal remedies to address specific
health challenges.
In addition, Green has been teaching
vegetarian cooking classes for 18 years, and taught courses through GCSU on
herbal remedies.
Nutritional and Herbal Medicine
consultations are available by appointment. She will also have her usual large
selection of natural foods, herbal remedies, and supplements to offer. The store
will also offer organic fruit “smoothies”.
